Located on a prominent corner site in Mount Waverley, 1 McLaren Street demonstrates MJS Construction Group’s ability to deliver a premium finish under a construct-only arrangement. Completed in 47 weeks, this dual occupancy development showcases craftsmanship, problem-solving, and collaboration with the client’s design team.

The client provided both the town planning and building permit drawings while our team managed the full construction process. During the early stages, we identified and resolved several documentation challenges, ensuring the plans were build-ready and compliant before commencement.

This proactive approach kept the project running smoothly through to completion. Each townhouse features four bedrooms, including a guest suite on the ground floor, designed for modern family living. The layout offers generous proportions, practical zoning, and a strong sense of light and space.

Ground floor ceilings rise to 2.7 metres, with 2.55 metres on the first floor, creating an open, luxurious feel throughout. Externally, the homes combine classic and modern materials—brick and render to the ground level with lightweight cladding and render above.

The interiors feature full-height tiling to all wet areas, timber flooring and timber stairs that form a warm architectural centrepiece. Kitchens are finished in a mix of 2-pac and laminate cabinetry, complemented by stone benchtops and Smeg appliances.

Large double-glazed windows enhance comfort and energy performance, while professional landscaping, driveways, and fencing complete the development with a polished presentation.
